Maura A. Greene is a partner at Keegan Werlin LLP. Ms. Greene is a trial attorney with twenty-three years of experience who is general counsel to architecture, engineering, surveying, construction and technology firms. She concentrates her practice in business litigation and counseling businesses and individuals on employment-related matters. She is a frequent lecturer on topics including preventing claims, allocation of risk in contract provisions and employment-related topics. She has presented at forums sponsored by the Boston Architectural College, the Boston Society of Architects, Northeastern University Law School, Suffolk University Law School, and the Design Build Institute of America, the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyeors and Civil Engineers, the Associated General Contractors of America and Women in Technology.
Ms. Greene has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts and before the Massachusetts Commission against Discrimination. She also represents clients in mediations, arbitrations and administrative proceedings, and matters before Boards of Registration. Ms. Greene served as President of the Design Build Institute of America/New England Chapter in 2007. She is an honorary member of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers. She is an active member of the Boston Society of Architects' Human Resources Committee and the Women's Transportation Seminar. She has served on a number of committees for the American Council of Engineering Companies.
Ms. Greene is a graduate of Smith College and earned her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, where she was a member of the Law Review. Ms. Greene is rated AV by Martindale Hubbell.
